Se negli anni ’90 i Nirvana hanno aggiunto un nuovo tassello nella musica indipendente mondiale, i SENZABENZA lo hanno fatto sicuramente per quella italiana dando a inizio anni 90 nuovo vigore alla scena Punk nazionale, caratterizzata negli anni 80 dall’Hard-core Punk.

Tutto nasce nel dicembre 1989, subito dopo aver assistito a Roma all’esibizione del combo Australiano HARD-ONS che letteralmente lasciano a bocca aperta Sebi, Nando e Fabio (tutti con altre esperienze musicali come London 77, F.C.A. ….) che decidono immediatamente di formare una band.

Senzabenza teams up in 1989 but their first album release (“Peryzoma”) is dated 1992. After a few shows supporting The Ramones in Italy they give birth to the acclaimed “Gigius” (1993). Their third album (“Deluxe”) is mixed by Joey Ramone while the fourth one (“Vol. 4”, 1999) is sixties-oriented and sung in italian. “Uppers” (2003) comes next, trademark Senzabenza’s style with english lyrics. After a 14-year hiatus the band goes back to the studio for “Pop From Hell” (2017) and then “Godzilla Kiss!” (2019).
